Carnelian dates all the way back to the Bronze Age, on the island of Crete. Ancient warriors wore the stone around the neck, to instill courage and physical power over the enemy. Egyptians wore the crystal to show their rank. Romans believed it to be a stone of courage, building confidence and strength.
Today Carnelian is still a stone of courage and strength. Adding on the already amazing features it is said now to offer stability, grounding, have a feeling of zest for life, warmth, and creativity. It is also used for protection, energy, leadership, enhanced public speaking, and motivation.
