Green Aventurine was first “discovered” in the 18th century. Being that this stone has been mistaken for jade or malachite origin is unknown. There are some good educated guesses out there. Green Aventurine get its' name comes from the Italian, "a ventura,"" or ""all'avventura,"" meaning, ""by chance.
This stone is considered one of the luckiest stones out there. It is a stone of opportunity and/or prosperity. It is said to bring abundance and success. Because of the soothing green color it has long been used to calm emotions, bringing wearer harmony and peace.
