Peridot goes back to the ancient times, as it is rumored Cleopatra’s prized emerald collection was either Peridot or had some Peridot in it. It was believed that Peridot was brought to the Earth by a sun’s explosion.
Peridot is said to be a stone of compassion, promotes abundance, prosperity, and happiness. Some healers use it today and in those ancient times to help treat depression and anxiety.
